  • Long story short, yes! At SCENTS., we are deeply committed to sustainability. Our candles are crafted with european soy wax, FSC-certified wooden wicks, ensuring responsible forestry practices. The fragrances are not only vegan but also free from carcinogens and phthalates, prioritizing your health and the environment.

    On our packaging, we use biodegradable packing peanuts and minimize plastic use wherever possible, and are always on the hunt for greener alternatives!

  • The perfect environment — Place the candle on a stable, heat resistant surface within sight. Keep it away from kids, pets and flammable items.

    For optimal performance — Allow the candle to create a full melt pool (usually 2 hours) to prevent tunneling and maximize the fragrance throw. Avoid burning for longer than 4 hours.

    A new life — Trim the wick or pinch the burnt wood before each burn. This ensures a clean and even burn.

  • If your wood wick isn't staying lit, it could be due to an improper wick length.

    The wick is too long — To ensure a proper burn, consider trimming the wick or pinch off the top burnt bits. We recommend maintaining a wick length between 3mm – 5mm for an optimal burn.

    The wick is too short — If you've accidentally trimmed your wood wick too short and it’s struggling to stay lit, you can gently heat the top and discard a bit of the wax. This process exposes a longer wick, ensuring a better burn. If necessary, use a wick trimmer to carefully adjust the wick length to the recommended 3mm – 5mm for a crisp burn.

  • It's absolutely normal, especially with candles crafted from natural wax. The bumpy texture on the top surface occurs during the cooling process. It's a unique characteristic that doesn't affect the quality or performance of your candle.

  • If you observe small oil build-up on the top of your candles, it might be a natural occurrence known as sweating. This is common in 100% soy wax candles because of their all-natural composition. Soy wax is sensitive to temperature changes, which may cause natural oils to separate and form build-up on the surface.

    Not to worry, as sweating doesn't impact your candle's quality! Simply wipe off the excess oil with a tissue. To minimize sweating, keep your candles away from drafts, direct sunlight, and rooms with varying temperatures.

  • Yes, we do offer free shipping on orders over 100€! No code needed.

  • Yes, we do! At the moment, we ship to countries within the European Union (EU). We're continuously exploring options to expand our international shipping. If you have a special request, feel free to send us an e-mail or dm on instagram.

    We strive to offer the most reasonable rates possible. Please note that you will receive the most affordable shipping rate for orders under 2 kg. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.

  • Once your order is placed, you should receive an order confirmation first, followed by a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number once the order is shipped. If you haven't received either of these emails, don't forget to check your spam folder! If you still can't locate them, no worries.   • No worries! If you've noticed an error in your address or other information on your order, please reach out to us immediately at scentsbysatnam@gmail.com. Include your order number and the corrected details, and we'll do our best to update it before shipping. Swift action helps ensure your goodies find their way to you without setbacks!

  • Due to the nature of our products, used candles cannot be exchanged or refunded. Custom candles are tailored to unique preferences, and are also not eligible for return or exchange. However, we are happy to replace or refund products damaged during transit. For damaged items, contact us at scentsbysatnam@gmail.com with proof of damage within 48 hours of receiving the order, your order number and details of the issue.
